2025

Lobe and SSSS are excited to bring you MINI FEST as an offering for this year’s spatial sound festival! Happening on-site at Lobe Spatial Sound Studio, this 4-day festival will showcase some of the amazing projects and artists that have been through Lobe in the past year!

This festival is a mix of Live performances and spatial sound Diffusions. Lobe’s vibroacoustic floor, integrated 4DSOUND system, and intimate setting make MINI FEST a listening experience not to be missed!

Strathcona Spatial Sound Society

Founded in 2020, Strathcona Spatial Sound Society (SSSS) facilitates practices and projects related to immersive listening and new media art.

The Non-Profit Society was developed to support creation and presentation in spatial sound. SSSS does this through increasing access to the permanently integrated 4DSOUND system at Lobe Studio and temporary installations of site-specific multichannel sound systems.
