Five Easy Hot Dogs | Mac DeMarco

In June 2023, Mac DeMarco came to Lobe as an artist-in-residence to mix a spatial arrangement of his instrumental road trip record, Five Easy Hot Dogs. Mac quickly gained facility conducting the sonic possibilities afforded by 4DSOUND. Using a patch in Ableton Live, he gave every instrument or stem its own specific place and pathway in space. Through this process, all of the sounds that make up each song come to move around listeners in hypnotic orbits. The result is a fully immersive version of Five Easy Hot Dogs.

Polyphonic Garden | Ruby Singh

The album was built and shaped using field recordings captured on the beautiful west coast of Turtle Island.
