An Ableton Live workshop with the city's top instructor, Kevin Mah, in the city's best sound room.

All ages and experience levels welcome - everyone will get something out of this session. We'll touch on Ableton 12 features, introduce you to 4DSOUND and its integration with Ableton Live / Max for Live, and demonstrate cutting-edge sound design techniques using Ableton device racks, amplified by Lobe's unique spatial sound environment.

Kevin Mah is a Vancouver-based music producer, educator, and half of the electro-funk duo Love & Electrik, known for reviving classic 80s sounds with a modern blend of synthpop, R&B, and nu-disco. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he instructs at SAE Institute, Vancouver Film School, and TableTutors, specializing in music production, MIDI, and sound design. He also produces official videos for Keith McMillen Instruments (Muse Kinetics). Through his studio, Solidtakes, he provides recording, songwriting, and production services.
