Human Museum is a concept album that portrays humanity through the lens of an alien civilization after finding the remains of post-apocalyptic Earth. Each song functions as a vignette into a different aspect of the human condition before its extinction. Themes of isolation, technology, social stratification, love, obsession and hopelessness permeate throughout the album’s seven tracks. Using a guitar heavy and synth infused color palette Human Museum summons a primal energy crystalized in a cold futuristic haze that invites questioning if it is too late to course correct our self-destructive behavior.
Serlöf is the solo musical project of producer and singer-songwriter Iván Flores. A graduate of the Vancouver Academy of Music (2020), Iván’s compositions blend influences ranging from 90s video game soundtracks to Orchestral Music, Progressive Rock, Art Pop and Contemporary Alternative and Experimental Music. His music has been featured in a wide array of media, from Cannes-selected short films (Descafeinado) to public video mapping shows in Mexico (Izamal and Chalco Valley), and animation for Cartoon Network Latin America (Viking Tales). In 2023, he composed the soundtrack for the award-winning game Blink Land by Midnight Hour Games. Throughout 2024, he worked as an in-house composer and sound designer for PopReach Games. In 2025 he composed some music for Adult Swim’s special The Elephant: Corpse Game. In early 2026 he toured Asia and Europe on a 35 date tour with Canadian punk band Big City Germs. Under the moniker Serlöf, he has released several solo projects and remixes, always aiming to collapse boundaries between the classical and the contemporary, the synthetic and the organic. Whether scoring a game, jamming with a rock band, or crafting electroacoustic pieces for festivals like Sonic Boom and Zap!!!, Iván’s work is marked by color, contrast, and emotional resonance.
