Join us at Lobe Studio for the presentation of Heavy Gestures in Lobe's Artist Residency Series by composer and multi-instrumentalist, V.Vecker.

Heavy Gestures (40 mins~) is a project inspired by the writings of Richard D. Kramer that center on the temporal phenomenological experience of early Minimalist music. Utilizing long form compositional techniques, nonlinear structures and repetitious motifs, Heavy Gestures looks to develop an acoustemology that is inclusive of temporal qualities while enhancing the phenomenological experience through the implementation of multichannel immersive sound reinforcement.
