Sunday Orbit | Experiments in Live Spatialization

Sunday March 31st | Doors at 7pm, Music from 7:30pm-11pm

Sunday Orbit presents long-form spatial sound performances with a focus on improvisation and experimental composition.

This first Sunday Orbit of spring features the deep crates of Bobby Myseh on his last night in Vancouver for a couple months.

Bobby's journey has taken him from the UK to the West Coast of Canada, with notable accomplishments along the way such as playing at We Out Here festival, hosting two London radio residencies on Voices Radio and Music Box Radio, and gracing us with an unforgettable chill-out set in the Lobe Dome at Bass Coast last year.

His exquisite taste ensures a smooth ride, and we are excited to have him at Lobe for a night of ambient and downtempo bliss. Bobby will be joined by regular host of Sunday Orbit, Pendamental, to take us on a journey of deep sound and spatial treats. Bobby and Pendamental can also be found collaborating as part of ambient duo 'Tea, BC' , as well as a regular uptempo funk-infused B2B slot at eastvan's 'It's Okay'.

"Experiments in Live Spatialization" are informal gatherings centered around sonic exploration. Come and enjoy the space activated by artists adept at modulating the dimensions of Lobe’s system.
