UNBORN MIND

Haiku as a Matrix for Deepening One’s Creative Process — No Matter the Medium

This six-week journey invites artists of all mediums—writers, painters, musicians, dancers, filmmakers, and curious seekers—to explore haiku not as poetry, but as perception. Far from the 5-7-5 formula you learned in school, haiku is a living matrix for creativity itself: a practice of seeing, feeling, and being that deepens artistic expression and opens the senses to heightened inspiration.

Each week, participants will be guided through a process of observation, form, impermanence, and paradox—the four pillars of the haiku ethos. Through experiential exercises, meditative writing, and creative embodiment practices, you will learn to enter what can be called “poetic embodiment”—a way of being in which creativity flows naturally, without force or expectation.

To support this process, the workshop will take place within the immersive 4DSOUND studio at Lobe, where spatial sound will be used to craft meditative sonic environments that heighten perception and awareness. These carefully designed soundscapes will invite participants into deeper states of listening and presence—allowing creativity to arise from stillness, resonance, and the subtle spaces between sound and silence.

Haiku, in this context, becomes more than a literary form—it becomes a doorway into a new mode of perception. The workshop is designed to help you dissolve boundaries between art and life, to reawaken sensitivity to the ephemeral, and to experience your creative process as a living, breathing dialogue with the world.

By the end of the six weeks, haiku will no longer be something you write—it will be something you live.

For anyone seeking to rekindle inspiration, renew creative flow, and experience life itself as art.

ZAMEEN-A is a violinist and experimental artist whose work explores the abstraction of perception, embodiment, and the intersection of art and consciousness through highly immersive emotional states. Drawing from over a decade of haiku practice, esoteric study, and time living in Japan, she approaches creativity as a form of presence—a lived philosophy that dissolves the boundary between art and life. ZAMEEN-A’s current work includes two film projects and a multimedia installation that question the boundaries of the body, the nature of the self, and the ways in which ritual, desire, and technology shape perception.
