MOTHER CLOUD Spatial Sound Festival maintains a collective environment that is welcoming, respectful, and enjoyable for all guests, artists, and those working the event. Discrimination of any kind - be it regarding race, gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, physical appearance, national origin, ethnicity, or religion - falls outside of the festival’s Code of Conduct.
The Code of Conduct requires each guest and participant to take responsibility for their own wellness while they are at the festival on behalf of the safety of others present.
Individuals not respecting the Festival Code of Conduct will be asked to leave the venue.
The following are examples of behaviour that will not be tolerated (but not limited to):
Discrimination, bullying or hate that harasses, victimizes, degrades, or intimidates an individual or group of individuals on the basis of religion, race, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, ability, physical appearance or other.
Harassment, including unwelcome or hostile behavior, physical contact or sexual attention
Intimidation or unwelcome following
Foul or abusive language to attendees, artists, and/or team members.
Physical abuse, fighting or making threatening remarks or gestures
Possession of weapons/items that can be used as a weapon or any other prohibited items
Providing alcohol or intoxicants to a minor
Being a minor in possession of alcohol
Disruption of the event, including throwing objects, or trespassing in restricted areas
Wearing or using clothing, signs, and banners which are offensive in nature
Any other conduct that may be deemed by event staff to be inappropriate or which may adversely affect the safety of persons or property, or disruption of the event.
If you experience or witness any forms of unacceptable behavior or risk of harm, please bring your concerns to the immediate attention of a MOTHER CLOUD team member. If anyone seems unwell to you, please kindly notify a team member rather than intervening personally.
