Lobe Artist Residency Series: Badlands: A Dance In Time

Join us at Lobe Studio for the presentation of Badlands: A Dance In Time in Lobe's Artist Residency Series, created by Andrea Spaziani & Prince Nifty (Matt Smith).

This composition, accompanied by choroegraphy, will run for 50~ minutes followed by a brief Artist Q&A.

"Badlands form a memory of the future. In an odyssey through time itself, layers of recordings made over four years carve out a landscape of bodily traces. Sound becomes a body of the real, chasing through pastures, interstellar strings, exquisite corpses of rhythm, shamanic whales, AI terrors, diesel roadhouse bars, truncated lifelines, and benedictions from the open road. Images cut into time like water cuts into stone. Happy trails."
