Alex Penney (Pendamental) invites us to listen to his latest album, 2 Days in Time, as he originally intended it: as an immersive experience that you have to enter to fully grasp.

Penney, one of the most experienced producers in 4DSOUND in the world, has deconstructed and reconstructed his album into a flowing, psychedelic adventure through music and soundscape, mixed specifically for Lobe.

2 Days in Time is a journey through the realms of downtempo, hip-hop, and house music captained by Pendamental, with a slew of onboard talent including David Ward, PIQSIQ, Naduh members Larisa Marie and Bby Booda, and Kofi. The album is a snapshot of some unforgettable studio days, when a group of friends reunited after a stretch of pandemic isolation. It is intended to bring the listener right into the room with the crew and send them out, onto otherworldly adventures, with each song. The spatial sound version of the album takes the immersion one step further, blurring the distinction between listener and music in a new mode of sonic experience.
