Artist Residencies  

Artist Residencies offer successful applicants the opportunity and support required to learn, research and create in spatial sound using 4DSOUND software. The application of 4DSOUND technology is diverse and open to imagining, therefore these residencies are customized to meet the scale and interest of each artist and proposed project. Lobe is one of three permanent studios in the world with 4DSOUND technology, and the only dedicated studio in North America. 

Lobe’s Residency program promotes the creation of new works in spatial sound, the exploration of interdisciplinary applications of spatial sound, and to make spatial sound technology accessible to all listening communities.
